Short version: we collect what we need to deliver your order, we don't take card details, and we don't sell your data.
When you place an order we collect your name, phone number, city, delivery address and any note you add. That is the minimum needed to bring the order to your door and call you if the courier can't find it.
If you sign up to our list, we store your email address and which language you were browsing in. Nothing else.
We never collect card or bank details, because every order is paid in cash on delivery. There is no payment form on this site.
Order details are kept so we can fulfil and deliver the order, handle returns or complaints, and keep basic sales records. Email addresses are kept only to send occasional restock and offer messages โ and only until you ask us to stop.
We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing.
Order data is stored in our Supabase database and is readable only by the shop owner's admin account. Our delivery courier receives your name, phone and address for the specific delivery โ nothing more.
The site is hosted on Vercel and the database on Supabase; both process data on our behalf as service providers.
We use Vercel Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you.
If Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising is switched on, a Meta Pixel records that a page or order happened so we can measure our ads. It is only loaded when advertising is active. You can block it with any standard content blocker or your browser's tracking protection.
We do not use advertising cookies of our own. Your cart and wishlist are saved in your browser's local storage on your device โ they never reach our servers unless you place an order.
Order records are kept for two years for accounting and returns. Email subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete either at any time.
To see, correct or delete anything we hold about you, message +961 70 000 000 on WhatsApp or email hello@vitaminshop.lb. We will action it within 30 days. To stop marketing emails, just reply "stop" โ we don't make it complicated.
This shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Supplements should only be given to children on the advice of a doctor or pharmacist.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be announced on the site.
